The latest revision of the popular WII/GameCube emulator, dolphin, allows people to run the latest wii games in 1080P with antialiasing. This results in graphics you can't even get on a standard wii. While the embeded video below doesn't seem to run at full speed because of Fraps recording it, it is actually possible to run it at 60 fps with no problems. In addition Mario Kart Wii also works with dolphin, and is also capable of running at a stunning 60 fps. Emulators these days seem to make a huge leap in performance, which is really a technical feat. Check out the links below to find out how to get Dolphin running on your PC!

Just a quick update in the WII homebrew scene, neogamma, one of the many backup loaders for the Nintendo WII has just released beta 12 of revision 8. This version automatically removes new protection from discs that could result in a green screen upon startup. It is to be noted that only when using USB devices iso's are fixed, if you burn them to a disc you still need to manually patch them.
